Open Support and the Foundation have a shared commitment to the mission and vision of our Founders, the Sisters of Charity, particularly supporting those who are underserved within our community. Guided by the values of compassion, excellence, justice and integrity, our partnership with the Foundation will further the mission of the Sisters of Charity by enhancing our fundraising activities and developing new relationships to help ensure Open Support is resourced to grow its programs to support those most in need. Our primary goal is always to help change lives from fear and isolation to empowerment, independence, and connection.
Our partnership will create efficiencies by accessing existing internal resources of the Foundation and leverage centralised philanthropic expertise to generate sustainable revenue for Open Support’s essential programs and services. The Foundation will link Open Support programs to St Vincent’s Hospitals Health Equity program, including the Urban Health Hub at Green Park Hotel, Homeless Health, Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Services.
Together we will work with donors from a place of gratitude and respect, important qualities and behaviours deeply embedded in both our organisations. We look forward to working with you to extend the impact of Open Support’s vital programs into the future. This year St Vincent’s Curran Foundation is celebrating 40 years of Impact. You can find out more about their fantastic achievements here.
