A key highlight of the event was the launch of the St Vincent’s Open Support Giving Group, established to help raise the $1.45 million needed this financial year to sustain crucial programs and services.
The St Vincent’s Open Support Giving Group is an inspiring community of donors united in their commitment to breaking the cycle of domestic and family violence. This initiative represents a vital step toward building safer futures for women and children escaping violence.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful supporters who have already pledged gifts for the next three years, including Helen Lynch AM and Helen Bauer, Dr Jenny Dew, Robert and Mary Baulderstone, and a St Vincent’s Open Support Advisory Committee member who wishes to remain anonymous.
Your commitment is invaluable, helping us secure sustainable funding for programs that provide urgent safe accommodation, recovery services, and the support needed to rebuild lives and reconnect with community.
By joining the Giving Group, you are directly supporting frontline services and empowering families to make real, and lasting change.
You can join with a tax-deductible three-year pledge of $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000 per year. One-off donations are also deeply appreciated and can be made securely online through Open Support’s donation portal:
As a part of St Vincent’s Health Australia, St Vincent’s Open Support was established by the Sisters of Charity to carry forward their mission of care and social justice with a commitment to compassion, dignity, and service to the vulnerable. Together, we can make a transformational difference for women and children who have been in crisis.
